Welcome to North Shields Photographic Society.
We are a fairly new camera club consisting of about 30 members at present. We usually average around 12 to 15 members attending our club nights. Members 'Styles' vary from Fine Art Photography, Portraiture, Landscapes, Wildlife and Just About Everything Else.
We meet every Tuesday night at 7:30 pm, throughout the year at King Street Social Club, 27 King St, North Shields NE30 1BZ.
There is plenty of parking directly opposite the entrance of the social club.
We offer a full range of Photographic activities including a scheduled programme of tutorials, guest speakers, nights out with our cameras in the local area, studio nights, and 12 photographic competitions throughout the year. Groups of us also arrange regular away-day trips to nearby places that offer great photographic opportunities such as the Lake District and Northumberland.
We are always looking for new members, young, old and everything in between. Whether you are just starting out or if you have some expertise, and would like to hang out with like minded people, then come along and you will be made very welcome. Free advice always available.
